Australie | 5 mai 2022In this podcast we explore the role of principal contractors when operating in a joint venture or alliance contract delivery model. These are both common models for the delivery of major construction projects in Australia.
Our experience in advising clients working under these contractual arrangements is that there are a number of practical and operational safety challenges that can arise for the party appointed as principal contractor, which do not arise under more traditional client/contractor models (e.g. design and construct (D&C) agreements).
So we want to take the opportunity today to examine the PC role in this context in a little more detail.
